In this introductory workshop, teens & tweens learned essential darning and mending skills, including how to sew a new button on a shirt.
What is the real value of money, and how can we establish mastery in adding it up? The focus of this meet up was to fortify mental math skills through the practical life application of counting change. A second objective of this just for fun class, was to help youth establish confidence with handling money matters. We concluded this meet up with a good-old fashioned card game, called, "Concentration," aka matching to develop the skill of mental focus.
These light-hearted card making workshops are designed around seasonal themes and present the opportunity to do something creative, and crafty, while making new friends.

Our recent workshops have been nothing short of remarkable. From topics such as Small Group Yoga, Sewing Basics, Personal Finance for Teens & Tweens, DIY Holiday Card Making, and All Ages Drum Circles, participants have been buzzing with activity, learning for fun, and making new friends!
